She has appeared on the Tyra Banks Show and in a TED presentation in which she discussed her personal experiences of growing up in the Bronx. She has appeared in several music videos including Beyonce's Pretty Hurts and Kanye West's Power. she graduated from NYISE in 2007, and shes of african-american descent, Diandra worked for clients like MAC, Vivienne Westwood and Jean Paul Gaultier. She also became a spokesperson for other black albinos, after learning about her ill-treatment, particularly in East Africa, where local superstitions mean that many live in fear of kidnapping and mutilation. She works with an organization in Tanzania called Assisting Children in Need (ACN), fighting discrimination against the country's albino community.
